GOD SAVES US

 In darkness, I wandered, lost and alone

A soul adrift, without a guiding tone

But then I felt, a gentle hand

Lifting me up, from a desperate land

God's love enveloped me, like a warm embrace

A shelter from life's raging pace

He whispered hope, in my troubled mind

And calmed the storms, that I could not unwind

With tender care, He healed my broken heart

And lit the path, that would set me apart

From the shadows of fear, and the weight of my pain

He led me to a place, where love would reign

In His arms, I found a peaceful nest

A refuge from the world's wild unrest

A sense of belonging, to something greater still

A connection to His love, that forever will fulfill

God saved me, from the depths of my despair

And showed me a love, beyond compare

A love that's constant, through every test

A love that's always, my safest best
